Is there any software to make free calls (apart from net usage feeto landline/mobile phones from the internet?

MOST SOFTWARE THAT IS FREE HAS A CONDITION THAT IF YOU WANT TO MAKE FREE PC-INTERNET TO LANDLINE PHONE/MOBILE ONE HAS TO PURCHASE TALKTIME. THAT BY ITSELF TAKES AWAY THE BEAUTY OF THIS BEAUTIFUL CREATURE CALLED INTERNET. IF ANYONE KNOWS A SOFTWARE TO MAKE UNLIMITED FREE CALLS FROM INTERNET TO LANDLINE PHONES (WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY ANYTHING APART FROM THE INTERNET CHARGES) DO LET ME KNOW ABOUT IT. THANKS

1. donno any FREE ones but yahoo is extremely extremely cheap. Hope there is a free one.
2. I've heard of ppl using Skype. But I'm not sure whether it does what you're looking for since I've never downloaded the software.
3. I've downloaded skype, and no, it cannot call a landline for free. For that, you have to purchase skype credits. But it does allow you to use a mic with a chatting program, but alot of IM programs, including MSN messanger, already do that. I'm not so sure you can call a landline for free over the internet.
